University Website The Corporate Communications Unit supported the team of internal stakeholders led by Learning Technologies Unit (LTSU) to restructure the University’s Website which was re-launched in November 2015 as part of the UTech, Ja. Marketing Communication campaign led by the Advancement Division. The site is now powered by a Content M a n a g e m e n t Sys tem (CMS) which enables trained content writers across all Colleges, Faculties and Di v i s i ons to upload t he i r con t en t f o r review and final publishing by the Corporate Communications Unit. “UTech, Jamaica Experts” The “UTech, Jamaica Experts” database stood at 40 at the end of the reporting period. The database continues to be highly utilized by editors and writers seeking expert opinion from the University on various national issues. Thirty (30) media interviews were arranged with UTech, Jamaica Experts during the period. Communication and Protocol Support Events management, communication and protocol support services were provided for over 46 University events. The Corporate Communications Unit prepared and disseminated a steady flow of information on developments at the University, in the form of news releases, press advisories, press invitations, captioned photographs and adver torials. Approximately 70% of 49 news releases were published in the press, used in news casts or published online. Five (5) advertorials and newspaper features highlighting academic excellence, service, research, student, faculty and staff achievements were UTech, Jamaica Taxation Expert, Georgia Silvera-Finnikin, COBAM Lecturer and Tax Expert
