For this reason it is committed to providing resources and initiatives to support and improve staff health, happiness and productivity. The following activities were hosted for the period April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016: ACTIVITY DATE Yoga Classes Continuation from 2014 Women’s Health: October 2015 Stress Management: Massage Therapy October 2015 Lung Cancer Awareness November 2015 Physical Activity Emphasis January 2016 Weight Management (Check your weight and determine your target)- Body Mass Index (BMI) February 2016 Exercising with the 225 Club) February 2016 and is ongoing ACTIVITY DATE Healthy Eating (7 Days Challenge of Eating Healthy/Balanced Meals)- recipes are provided February 2016 Dance Fitness March 2016 Swimming (Adult and Children) Ongoing Medical Centre The Medical Centre continues to provide quality health care to the University community. As part of the operational objectives of the Medical Centre Health Education activities such as Diabetes management sessions are offered on a monthly basis in conjunction with educators from the College of Health Science.
