During the 2015/2016 reporting period, eight (8) critical environmental parameters were consistently monitored on all campuses of the University. These include but were not necessarily limited to: Food Safety, drinking water quality, pest infestation management, solid waste monitoring and management, occupational health and safety, environmental awareness and sensitisation, swimming pool health and sanitation, and occupational health and safety. The parameter with the lowest level of compliance and standards is occupational health and safety. Consequently, the occupational health and safety policy has been reviewed by the Human Resource Operational Committee and the Governance Committee and should be operational in short order.
