FELS Members of the Family and Consumer Studies (FS) Programme offered two training modules – A Fashionable Start to Sewing module was presented to the UTech, Jamaica community, while Fashion Designing was offered to a group of 15 young people enrolled in a Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF) summer course that was managed by the UTech, Ja Community Service programme unit. SOTAVE conducted a Customer Service Workshop for Fly Jamaica Airlines on 25 July 2016. Payment was made in the form of tickets valued at over $100,000 which were made available to cover travel costs to conferences or other faculty activities to Fly Jamaica destinations.
