The Division maintains effective communication with the University’s publics, and builds harmonious relations with stakeholders to facilitate successful engagement of support for the University through resource mobilization and activities by various offices or groups. The Division’s role has been expanded to include the Office of the Customer Service Advocate. The Division is structured under the Office of President. The Advancement Division supported a number of University-wide events and initiatives to facilitate institutional strengthening and the mobilization of resources. CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS UTech, Jamaica Mobile App The UTech, Jamaica Mobile App continues to assist the University in improving its global communication with current and prospective students, donors and stakeholders on news, achievements and events. The App, created in December 2015, was f ur the r enhanced during the reporting pe r i od wi th the addition of a push alert feature used for communicating urgent messages and reminders such as emergency closures, safety aler ts, operational changes and registration deadlines. Downloads of the UTech, Jamaica Mobile App exceeded 3000 for the reporting period.
