University of Technology, Jamaica “Pioneering Past; Bright Future ” ANNUAL REPORT 2017-2018 56 SCHOOL OF GRADUATE STUDIES, RESEARCH AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP The School of Graduate Studies, Research & Entrepreneurship (SGSRE) continued to lead and manage the development and delivery of graduate programmes in the University. Guided by the Research Policy of the University, the SGSRE guides and supports research activities and operates the Research Development Fund. The School guides and supports entrepreneurial activity primarily through the delivery of consultancy services and research-based innovations. The SGSRE implements the Intellectual Property Rights Policy of the University. The SGSRE continues to provide guidance and supervision for the academic publications of the University, particularly the flagship Journal of Arts Science and Technology. Graduate Studies Courses of Study and Enrollment : In the 2017-2018 Academic Year, the University offered 36 taught and research graduate degree courses of study in which 182 students were enrolled.
