University of Technology, Jamaica “Pioneering Past; Bright Future ” ANNUAL REPORT 2017-2018 72 • Caribbean School of Nursing • School of Allied Health and Wellness • School of Pharmacy Local and International Linkages • UTech, Jamaica has collaborated with Church Teachers College under franchise arrangements to offer the Pharmacy Technician certification. • The School of Pharmacy collaborated with several Proctor Sites within the Caribbean region and the USA to administer the School’s proctor final examinations for the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Post-diploma Online). The proctor sites used were in Antigua, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts, St. Vincent, Turks and Caicos Islands, Florida and Maryland. Scholastic Achievements • Dr. Andrea Pusey- Murray, Associate Professor, Car ibbean School of Nursing was a recipient of the Canada- CARICOM Faculty Leadership Program at the Ryerson University, November -December 2017. • Dr. Andrea Daly, Head, School of Pharmacy was the recipient of the Caribbean Association Dr. Janet Campbell-Shelly Dean College of Health Sciences Professor Stephen Vasciannie, CD, President, University of Technology, Jamaica and Dr. Janet Campbell-Shelly, Dean, College of Health Sciences participate in the cutting of the ribbon marking the official opening of the new UTech, Ja. Pharmacy at the University’s Papine campus on Thursday, April 19, 2018.
